The Jerry Esposito/Citizens’ Ambulance Service Scholarship
Established by the Esposito family, friends, and colleagues, honors the distinguished leadership and many contributions Jerry provided to the field of emergency medical services; locally, across the state, and nationally. Mr. Esposito valued the importance of higher education and always encouraged the pursuit of knowledge through further education. The maximum scholarship award is $2,000.
Candidates for the scholarship must meet the following guidelines:
- Must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a Pennsylvania college or university on a full-time or part-time basis.
- Preference will be given to individuals planning to enroll at Indiana University of Pennsylvania;
- Must demonstrate financial need to pursue educational opportunities;
- Must demonstrate good citizenship, outstanding personal character, and promise for future success;
- Preference will also be given to current employees of Ambulance Service Management Corporation (ASMC) or dependents of past or current employees of ASMC; and
- If applicant has no relationship to ASMC then they must be pursuing a course of study directly related to the
- emergency medical services field.
