EMT-B Training
If you would like to take the necessary training to become an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Indiana University of Pennsylvania offers an EMT-B course. For class information, please contact IUP directly at 724-357-4052.
EMT-P Training
Citizens’ Ambulance Service, in conjunction with Mutual Aid Ambulance, offers an EMT-P training class that is open to certified EMT-Bs. If you would like to pursue Paramedic National Registry certification, then this is an excellent opportunity to obtain the instruction you need. Classes are held at the Citizens’ location in Indiana, PA.

Scholarships may be available for individuals interested in either EMT-B or EMT-P training. To learn more about possible opportunities for financial assistance, please review our Scholarships page or contact the Human Resources Department by e-mailing hr@asmgt.com.
Continuing Education
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)/Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)/Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS)

Citizens’ Ambulance Service, in conjunction with Allegheny General Hospital and Mutual Aid Ambulance Service, provides numerous educational opportunities for Citizens’ current staff and healthcare personnel from area organizations. Please direct your inquiries to communitytraining@asmgt.com.
General Continuing Education
Citizens’ offers continuing education classes throughout the year that cover topics such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Paramedic Training Program
Citizens' is offering a paramedic training program beginning March 27th with classes every other Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday that incorporate both classroom and field/clinical time.
