WELCOME TO CITIZENS’ AMBULANCE SERVICE


Established in 1964, Citizens’ Ambulance Service is a nonprofit corporation that provides Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and non-emergency ambulance and van service to the residents of Indiana County and portions of Armstrong, Westmoreland and Clearfield Counties. Our professional medical care staff is always on call -- just dial 911 and ask for Citizens'.

  • Must be a high school student or recent graduate of Indiana County school district.

  • Must be registered to attend an EMT course (Must provide proof of acceptance).

  • Demonstrate a strong interest in the medical field.

APPLY FOR CITIZENS’ AMBULANCE SERVICE’S TUITION ONLY SCHOLARSHIP TODAY!

  • MUST BE A RESIDENT OF INDIANA COUNTY

  • Must be minimum 18 years of age (by August 11th) or older to enroll in the class

  • Must submit a written personal statement demonstrating a strong interest in becoming certified as an EMT, explain how receiving this scholarship will help you achieve your goals, and why you would like to work at Citizens' Ambulance Service.

  • Must have proof of application to enroll in the Fall IUP IRHS EMT class

  • Applications must be completed by JULY 31st , 2025!
